01 — Introduction
We began in 2014 with a single house and a conviction that good buildings are quiet ones. That has not changed. What has grown is our range — from homes to hotels, studios and places of work.
We draw by hand, model at full scale wherever we can, and choose collaborators who care about how things are made as much as how they look.

Before we draw, we spend time. Light, wind, neighbours, noise — the site has already made most of the decisions.

Every line costs something to build and to live with. We keep removing until the plan can be explained in a sentence.

We choose materials that improve with use and details that can be repaired by the next generation of makers.

A typical house takes 24–30 months.

We listen, visit, measure and write the brief together.
